Ingredients

  • Milk – I used a mix of 2% Fairlife milk and unsweetened almond milk. The fat in 2% milk adds creaminess while keeping calories lower.

  • Protein powder – I used Pescience vanilla protein powder (use code Laurenfitfoodie to save!), but any protein powder works. Choose a plant-based dairy-free option if needed.

  • Sugar-free instant pudding mix – Adds flavor and thickens the ice cream. Vanilla is great, but you can try white chocolate or cheesecake flavors too!

  • Liquid stevia – Substitute with honey or pure maple syrup if preferred.

Directions

  • Mix all base ingredients in an empty Ninja Creami pint

  • Blend with an immersion blender, food processor, or blender

  • Freeze for 12 to 24 hours.

  • Before serving, run under warm water for a few minutes, then spin through the Gelato cycle once.

  • Stir the top of the ice cream, then spin again on the Lite ice cream cycle.

  • Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy! (Crushed Oreos, Reese’s, sprinkles, or chocolate sauce!)

    2. Blend with an immersion blender, food processor, or blender.

How To Store Ninja Creami Dairy-Free Vanilla Ice Cream

If you don’t finish the whole pint, smooth out the remaining ice cream in the Ninja Creami container and return it to the freezer. To serve later, re-spin until desired consistency.

For leftovers stored in another container, thaw slightly or microwave for 5-10 seconds to soften before enjoying.

Helpful Ninja Creami Dairy-Free Vanilla Ice Cream Tips

    • Prepare ahead. You don’t necessarily need to wait the full 24 hours; 8 hours ahead often works well for me.
    • Avoid icy edges. Warm the container under hot water for 30 seconds before use, or let it sit on the counter for 15-20 minutes. After the initial spin, run a knife or spoon along the sides and re-spin.
    • More spins. For softer ice cream, spin 2-3 times before adding mix-ins. For scoopable ice cream, stick to 1 re-spin.
    • Don’t overfill. The ice cream expands during spinning, so leave space in the container for the creamiest results.

What To Do With Leftover Ninja Creami Dairy-Free Vanilla Ice Cream?

    • Smooth the top, replace the lid, and return the container to the freezer.
    • Leftovers may be hard; soften by leaving the container on the counter for about 20 minutes, or speed up the process with warm water or a quick microwave zap.
    • For best results, reprocess in the Ninja Creami on the Ice Cream or Sorbet setting—perfect for this recipe since there are no mix-ins to blend, keeping the base’s texture intact.
